your success begins here.
Congratulations on signing up. You have taken THE major step towards getting the Fellowship Exam!
This course has been over 12 years in the making and has been taught by Buchanan Prize Winners and produced Buchanan prize winners. It is prepared by those that have written the past exams, so you know the people that have written exams are preparing this course. I hope it brings you exam success and gets you those 5 letters after your name.....FACEM
Each week you get to WATCH, READ, SOLVE and WRITE as part of your preparation.
WATCH the video lectures provided. They are high level discussions of important topics in emergency medicine.
READ the associated documents. They are designed to complement the topics. Recommended chapters from the major textbooks are also provided.
SOLVE the provided problems. These are not to be done under exam conditions, but they are designed to get you thinking about topic of the week to help consolidate your learning.
WRITE the requested homework. Writing questions on a topic is a great way to both challenge your own knowledge and put you inside the mind of an examiner. It cannot be underestimated as a means of preparing for the exam.
COMMUNITY: We have set up a facebook page for the WRITTEN and OSCE exam. Just go to @fellowshipexamcourse and like us and participate. This page will be used to ask questions of each other and to interact.
You will have WEBINARS to teach you regularly and answer your concerns. You will have 'ROADBLOCK' exams on a regular basis to test and push you further. You will get hundreds and hundreds of questions and you will have detailed and realistic feedback.
The links for each week's work are below. Check back each Monday evening as the new week's resources become available.
